Welcome to the 2025 II ISPE LATAM Pharmacoepidemiology Congress!

On behalf of the Scientific and Organizing Committees, it is our great pleasure to invite you to the 2025 II ISPE LATAM Pharmacoepidemiology Congress, which will take place in person at University of Sorocaba, Sorocaba,  São Paulo, Brazil, from October 09-11, 2025.

This congress serves as a premier gathering for Latin American researchers, policymakers, and stakeholders dedicated to advancing pharmacoepidemiology and its applications to health decision-making. By fostering collaboration, knowledge exchange, and networking, we aim to strengthen methodologies, evidence generation, and health policies across the region.

The scientific program will feature cutting-edge research, invited lectures, symposia, workshops, and poster sessions, providing a comprehensive overview of the latest developments in pharmacoepidemiology. Participants from academia, regulatory agencies, the pharmaceutical industry, government bodies, consulting firms, and health insurers will come together to share insights, discuss challenges, and explore innovative solutions.

A key objective of this congress is to bridge critical sectors—government, regulatory agencies, industry, and academia—to enhance the evidence ecosystem that supports health policies and decision-making in Latin America. Through this unique platform, we seek to promote interdisciplinary dialogue, capacity building, and regional cooperation to drive forward the impact of pharmacoepidemiology.
