Alan Maicon de Oliveira
He holds a degree in Pharmacy, a specialization in Clinical Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Care, and a master’s and Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences. With experience as a Health Risk Manager in the hospital sector, he has also taught in Pharmacy, Nursing, and Medicine programs and served as a tutor for Brazil’s Ministry of Health courses on Pharmaceutical Care. Currently, he is a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Sorocaba and a member of the SERIEMA Evidence Center. A peer reviewer for Health Sciences journals, his research focuses on the Rational Use of Medicines and Healthcare Safety and Quality Management.

Ana Carolina F Modesto
She holds a PhD in Health Sciences and a Master’s in Health Education from the Faculty of Medicine at UFG. Specialist in Hospital and Clinical Pharmacy, with a Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy from the Faculty of Pharmacy at UFG. Currently serves as Head of the Pharmacovigilance Service in the Quality Management Sector at Hospital das Clínica, Federal University of Goiás/EBSERH. Supervisor in the Master’s Program in Health Assessment and Care at the Faculty of Pharmacy, UFG. Member of the Evidence-Informed Policy Center – SERIEMA/UNISO.

Andrea V Margulis
She is a Senior Director of Epidemiology at RTI-HS, based in Berlin, Germany, and working remotely with the Barcelona office. She studied Medicine and Pediatrics in Buenos Aires, completed a doctoral degree in Epidemiology (Pharmacoepidemiology focus) at Harvard School of Public Health, and pursued post-doctoral training at the FDA’s Center for Drug Evaluation and Research. Her research spans claims, electronic medical records, and registry data from North America and Europe, with expertise in drug utilization, prescribing patterns, safety in pregnancy and pediatrics, diabetes, ophthalmology, cancer, and cardiovascular diseases. She serves as an Associate Editor for Pharmacoepidemiology & Drug Safety and chaired the Scientific Program Committee for the 2024 ISPE Annual Meeting in Berlin.

Angela Patricia Acosta Santamarìa
She is an associate researcher at ICESI University (Colombia). Doctor (PhD) in Pharmaceutical Sciences and Master in Clinical and Health Effectiveness from the University of Buenos Aires. She worked in Brazil as a Specialist in medicines and health technologies at the South American Institute of Government in Health ISAGS - UNASUR. Senior consultant in health issues and university teacher in recognized universities in Colombia, Brazil and Argentina.

Björn Wettermark
He is professor of pharmacoepidemiology at Uppsala university, Sweden and visiting professor at Vilnius university, Lithuania. His research focus on drug utilization as a tool in health policy including prescribing quality indicators, international comparisons of drug utilization, evaluation of prescribing doctors´ adherence to guidelines, evidence generation for new medicines and patient adherence to treatment. He has previously had various managerial positions in the health region of Stockholm as well as other commitments including membership in national and regional strategic groups on medicine management, scientific advisor to the Swedish Medical Products Agency and chair of the European Drug Utilization Research group (EuroDURG), the European chapter of the International Society for Pharmacoepidemiology.

Cristiane de Cássia Bergamaschi
Degree in Pharmacy and PhD in Pharmacology, Anesthesiology, and Therapeutics. Full professor in the Graduate Program in Pharmaceutical Sciences at the University of Sorocaba, São Paulo, Brazil. Participates in the Evidence-informed Policy Center - SERIEMA (Evidence Service for Monitoring and Evaluation) - EVIPNet-Brazil and in the LATAM Regional International Group within the International Society of Pharmacoepidemiology.

Diana Lizbeth Gómez Galicia
She is a pharmacist with a PhD in pharmacy. She is a full-time research professor in Hospital and Clinical Pharmacy area at the Pharmacy Faculty of the Autonomous University of the State of Morelos.

José Fernando Salvador Carrillo
He is a pharmacist graduated from the Faculty of Pharmacy and Biochemistry at the National University of San Marcos. He holds a Master’s degree in Pharmacology from the Institute of Biomedical Sciences at the University of São Paulo. Currently pursuing a Ph.D. at the University of Sorocaba (Brazil), he is also a professor at the School of Medicine at San Juan Bautista Private University (Peru). With expertise in biostatistics, clinical trials, and epidemiology, he is an active member of the International Society for Pharmacoepidemiology.

Juan Alberto Roldán Saelzer
He is currently the Head of the Pharmacovigilance Subdepartment, National Medicines Agency (ANAMED), Institute of Public Health (ISP), Santiago de Chile, holding this position since 2011. Dr Roldan is Chemist Pharmacist, with a PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences. Between 2020 and 2023, he was Deputy Head of ANAMED and since 2008 he has developed academic activities at several Universities in his country. Since 2018, he is a member of the WHO International Working Group on Medicines Statistics Methodology. Previously, he was part of the Uppsala Monitoring Centre Board as an alternate member, and since 2021 is a voting member of the Chilean Academy of Pharmaceutical Sciences, currently performing as its Secretary.

Lisa Pont
She is Professor of Pharmacy and Deputy Head of School in the Graduate School of Health at the University of Technology Sydney. Professor Pont leads the Medicines Utilization Research Team at the University of Technology Sydney, and her work centers around the epidemiology and utilization of medicines among older populations, primarily in aged care settings, and the use of real-world data to explore and understand medication-related problems.

Lysien Ivania Zambrano
Holds a Medical Degree from the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de Honduras and a Master’s and Ph.D. in Pharmacology, with a focus on Cardiorespiratory Physiology, from the Universidade Federal de São Paulo – Escola Paulista de Medicina (UNIFESP-EPM). She is currently a Professor in the Department of Morphological Sciences at the Faculty of Medical Sciences (FMC/UNAH) and Coordinator of the GRINVAR Research Group. Her research primarily focuses on arboviruses, tuberculosis, and epidemiology, with an emphasis on public health challenges in Honduras.

Luciane Cruz Lopes
Luciane Lopes is a full professor in the Graduate Program in Pharmaceutical Sciences at the University of Sorocaba, São Paulo, Brazil. She holds a degree in Pharmacy and Biochemistry and a PhD in Clinical Pharmacology. Dr. Lopes has served as a consultant for the World Health Organization and the Pan American Health Organization, contributing to initiatives such as Brazil's National List of Essential Medicines. As the leader of the SERIEMA-EVIPNet-Brazil Evidence Center and chair of the Latin American group of the International Society for Pharmacoepidemiology (ISPE). Her work spans diverse sectors, including health, social protection, and international development, with a strong emphasis on the intersection of evidence synthesis and policymaking. Fluent in Portuguese, Spanish, and English, Dr. Lopes has authored over 240 peer-reviewed publications.

Luis Phillipe Nagem Lopes
Pharmacist (UFRJ, 2022), Master in Pharmaceutical Sciences (UNISO, 2024), and specialist in Health Economics with a focus on health technology assessment (UNICAMP, 2024). Currently a PhD student in Public Health (IMS-UERJ, 2024-2028), he is a researcher at the SERIEMA Evidence Center (NEV/UNISO) and the Health Technology Assessments Center (NATS/UNISO), as well as a member of the Brazilian Coalition for Evidence and ISPE’s national chapter. Since 2022, he has worked as a methodologist for the Ministry of Health. His research focuses on pharmaceutical policy, drug care, pharmacoepidemiology, and the intersection of health, anthropology, and social participation in health decisions.

Maria Caterina Milone
Medical doctor specializing in Pediatric Clinic with a Master’s in Pharmacoepidemiology from the University of Barcelona. A professor at the National University of Patagonia San Juan Bosco, she teaches Health Research, Bioethics, and Pharmacology. Member of REDARETS and GAPURMED, her work focuses on pharmacoepidemiology through teaching, research, and community outreach to strengthen citizen awareness.

Maria Pilar Sanchez Olavarria
She holds a degree in Chemistry and Pharmacy from the University of Chile, a master's degree in Biostatistics from the University of Chile, and a PhD in Statistics, Data Analysis, and Biostatistics from the University of Barcelona. She is a professor and researcher at the Faculty of Chemistry and Biology of the University of Santiago, where she coordinates several undergraduate and graduate courses (University of Santiago, USACH, University of Chile, and University of the Americas (UDLA). She is a member of One Health Latinoamerica, Iberoamerica, the Caribbean (OHLAIC) and the Academy of Pharmaceutical Sciences of Chile. She is a member of ISPE. Her research focuses on pharmaceutical pollution (ecopharmacovigilance), its impacts on biodiversity loss, and drug bioequivalence.

Mariana Del Grossi Moura
She holds a Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences and has completed a postdoctoral fellowship in Evidence-Informed Policy and Health Technology Assessment. As a researcher in the Rational Use of Medicines, she specializes in systematic reviews and health policy synthesis. Currently, she works as a physiotherapist at Hospital Sírio-Libanês and serves as an Assistant in Health Technology Assessment (ATS 2) at NATS Unifesp-Diadema. She is also a member of SERIEMA-PAHO-EVIPNet-Brazil.

Maribel Salas
She s is an Executive Director at Bayer Pharmaceuticals and Adj Scholar at UPenn and Rutgers University. She holds a MD degree with Specialty in Internal Medicine. She holds a MSc and DSc in Pharmacoepidemiology, Clinical Epidemiology and Biostatistics. She has been working in Patient Safety for more than 20 years initially at the University of Birmingham Alabama where she was Professor at the School of Public Health and Preventive Medicine, and then at the pharmaceutical industry. She has more than 100 publications and more than 1,000 citations. She has received multiple awards and research grants. She is a Fellow of the ISPE and ISoP and Chair of the ISPE Global Development Committee.

Mina Tadrous
He is an Assistant Professor at the Leslie Dan Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Toronto, and Tier 2 Canada Research Chair in Pharmaceutical Policy and Real-world Evidence. He co-directs Pharmaceutical Policy and Pharmacy Practice at the Ontario Drug Policy Research Network (ODPRN) and is an ICES adjunct scientist and ISPE Fellow (FISPE). With a PhD in Pharmacoepidemiology (University of Toronto) and a Master’s in Health Outcomes (University of Tennessee), he also trained in pharmacy and drug policy research. His work focuses on drug policy evaluation and post-marketing surveillance, leveraging large datasets to inform real-world medication safety and effectiveness.

Monique Elseviers
She is professor emeritus of the University of Antwerp, Belgium, where she worked as an epidemiological researcher and statistician in the fields of nephrology, adherence and drug utilization research. At the University of Ghent, she had research activities in pharmaco-epidemiology mainly focusing on the quality of pharmacotherapy in old age and de-prescribing. Currently, she coordinates a clinical trial using metformin in renal failure patients at the University of Antwerp. She is past chair of EuroDURG and chief editor of the book Drug Utilization Research: Methods and Applications.

Ria Benko
She is a clinical and infectious diseases pharmacist with a PhD in clinical pharmacology and drug utilization research from the University of Szeged, Hungary. She is a senior lecturer at the Institute of Clinical Pharmacy and serves as chief pharmacist of the University Pharmacy Service. Her research focuses on drug utilization, particularly antibiotics. She is Chair-elect of the European Drug Utilisation Research Group and a national focal point for Hungary in the European Surveillance for Antimicrobial Consumption (ESAC-Net) and WHO GLASS.

Ursula Kirchmayer
Trained as a pharmacist and holding a Master's degree in Public Health, Ursula has dedicated the last 28 years to the Italian public healthcare service as an epidemiologist, with 18 years of experience in pharmacoepidemiology. She represents her department at ENCePP and currently serves as the president-elect of ISPE.

Vincent Lo Re
He is a tenured Associate Professor of Medicine and Epidemiology at the University of Pennsylvania and Senior Scholar at the Penn Center for Clinical Epidemiology and Biostatistics. He leads an NIH-funded research program on the pharmacoepidemiology of liver diseases, focusing on antiviral and antiretroviral therapies. He also maintains a clinical practice in chronic viral hepatitis. Dr. Lo Re is Co-Director of Penn’s MS in Clinical Epidemiology program and MPI of its Pharmacoepidemiology T32 training program. A long-time ISPE member, he has served as Board Member (2015-2018), Scientific Program Chair (2019), President (2021-2022), and Regional Editor for the Americas of Pharmacoepidemiology and Drug Safety since 2018.
